Please join us in Winnipeg for the first public performance of this brand new opera with music by Roan Shankaruk and libretto by Georgia Perdikoulias.

Monster Made was commissioned by Good Mess Opera Theatre in 2021 and we are thrilled to be workshopping this new opera in Winnipeg Manitoba from June 10-21 with the generous support of the Canada Council for the Arts and the University of Manitoba. Monsters Made tells the stories of several of the villainized women of Greek Mythology from their own perspectives and challenges the ideas we have long held as truth about these monsters.
